How to: Root your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N750S

In this post we will provide you with all the information and the files you need to perform a rooting procedure on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N750S. This will allow you to further explore your device, by installing various customizations that will improve your daily smartphone experience. We have prepared a set of pre installation recommendations, as well as the actual instructions. Do not skip any of these parts, as they go hand in hand.

  • Use this tutorial only for gaining root access on your Samsung Galaxy Note Neo N750S that is currently running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware. Do not try to use the info and the files provided in this post for any other device, as you may permanently damage it.
  • To be able to perform the rooting procedure, you will need to connect your device to the PC, so you must have a compatible USB cable at hand. Also, the computer that you are going to use must have the Samsung USB drivers[1] installed on it.
  • To ensure a good connection between your Note 3 and your PC, you should disable any antivirus app and enable the "USB Debugging" option from the "Developer Options" menu.
  • Data and files will be erased from your device. As nobody wants to lose their photos, videos or any other data, we recommend you to create a backup of your phone's content, by using a free backup tool such as "Helium[2]". Also backup your contacts by sync-ing them with your Google account. Find more details on how to do that here[3].
  • An unexpected shutdown of your device caused by lack of power can brick or damage your phone. To prevent such a thing, make sure that the battery of your handset is charged over 80%
